JAZZ SOLO
JAZZ SOLO
A Jazz solo resembles the witticisms of life, like glazing a muse or sublimating a woman—of all tones, sounds, pulses, shapes, and forms, with refinements of happiness.
The Jazz solo is living proof that life, much like writing, can transform into poetry that can be read or heard, with notes perfumed by the essence of pleasure... Notes that must be felt with flavor and excellence, like skin that shivers with delight.
The Poet Narcissus, who executes his notes in the form of letters and words until phrases form a spectacular Jazz solo, makes it flourish as an exquisite transmutation of techniques; a transubstantiation. Through the magic of **"Musicalized Writing,"** each instrument is a piece of clothing that falls away in harmony to solo, representing a loving state of the soul in a pleasurable movement of the body.
Each instrument echoes in its meter and its life:
The Saxophone: The Breath of Desire 🎷
The sax is the pure and sensitive instrument that most closely approaches the human voice. A sax solo is like whispering subtly into the ears of Helena Dolly: it is an instrument that begins soft, almost like a subtle breath on the neck, rising in intensity until it becomes a cry of pleasure. The curve of the melody mimics the silhouette of a woman. Remember: it is in the sax solo that the Poet finds the "voracious rhythm" he imprints on his hottest chronicles.
The Piano is a case apart in the hall of jazz: It is simply the Architect of Emotions 🎹
It is the foundation and the peak. When his fingers glide over the keys in a solo, he organizes the chaos. Because the piano represents prudence and wisdom. Each note is a step taken with elegance, like a table well-set for coffee or wine served with ritual. The piano is an instrument that gives the "clear and sharp" vision that life is a beautiful chalk drawing, where each key played is a moment that does not repeat in life.
The Trumpet: The Shout of Existence🎺
Represented by the trumpet, which has a heroic solo and the sound that wakes the morning. For the Poet, the trumpet solo is as vibrant as Morning Sex: full of energy and impossible to ignore. It is simply the "breath of inspiration" that rips through the silence and announces that the Poet is alive, ready for challenges, emanating light so that no one forgets that love is an overwhelming force.
The Cello: Reaching the Depth of Being 🎻
With its precious low register, it touches the deep notes that vibrate with all respect in the chest and the womb of a woman. For the Poet Narcissus, the cello solo is the Memory of a night of love and the remembrance of divine Ancestry. Its sound refers to stories heard in the silence of the soul, to feelings kept in the "quietest corner." It is a melancholy instrument, yet extremely noble, bringing the "serenity of the heart" after climax, in the embrace of deserved sleep.
The Synthesis of Improvisation
In Jazz, the solo is the moment when the musician is at his freest—in full liberty—but also most vulnerable to love life and those who enjoy living. For the Poet Narcissus, the solo is literary freedom in its noble nature. It is the moment when one abandons "refined meter" to let the words flow—"neither too deep, nor too shallow"—simply being the best they can be within the reach of the sensitivity of kindred spirits and fans.
